WebApr 8, 2010 · Seems like the patch cables push the pedals apart a lot of times, especially with a mix of side- and top-mount pedals. Gets messy in a hurry. Hell, it would be easier/cheaper to just buy a Line 6 amp with the effects built in. But where's the fun in that? But honestly, the "no gig, no opinion" mindset is prevalent here.

WebAug 19, 2013 · I don't know of any velcro strong enough to stick onto rubber pedal feet. It's worth a shot. Zip-ties are dirt cheap at Home Depot; big bag of them for maybe five bucks. Either way, best of luck. Just don't do anything that you even think could cause damage. No knives, super glue, or anything like that. WebOct 22, 2013 · Usually, if both surfaces are clean (check with denature alcohol) the stickum on the back should work well enough. If you want to be extra sure, clamp or weight it for a few hours. If you want to be 2x surer, gently warm the glue after the strips are applied before clamping. Do not get even CLOSE to melting anything.

Press a portion of the sticky side against the residue on your pedal and pull.. repeat 2-3 times as necessary. No extra products (painter's tape included), no fuss. It literally takes 15 seconds.
WebMay 3, 2007 · take a hair dryer and heat the adhesive side really well before applying it, and once the adhesive is warm, press it on has hard as you can and hold it for a minute or so. if it doesn't stick, you have some serious problems when attatching it to the pedal just press it down as hard as you can and hold it for a bit. WebMost Digitech and Boss pedals have huge, rubber pads on the base. The best thing, is to just peel it off and velcro to the bare metal. I use 3M dual lock. It's much stronger, sticks to rubber on boss and digitech pedals, anf you use significantly less material. It also doesn't wear out as easily. Then apply the velcro to the bare metal (make sure it's clean). This also makes it easier to return the pedal to original condition for resale.
