WebMar 26, 2014 · For me, the coated blades start off smoother (well they are coated for smoothness after all) then degrade after about 8-10 shaves and feel the same as an un-coated blade (sharp but not as smooth). I do not discard blades based on smoothness but rather on the quality of the shave the blade is still giving me.

I've had a few orders from Connaught so far and not a single problem.
