WebBobbi, who is the founder and executive director of Bobbi and the Strays, an Ozone Park-based animal rescue group and member of the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals, had been looking to open a new adoption center for several years. Since 1998, the group has been handling adoptions out of a rented space at the JFK Vetport. WebBobbi and the Strays main mission is to undertake rescue operations and to provide essential care for orphaned, stray, abused and special needs cats and dogs. They believe that all animals deserve love, compassion and respect. Through rehabilitation, socialization and adoption they strive to provide a humane service to all animals in their care.
